This was actually way more fun that I thought it would be. I’m really glad I pushed myself on this one. I find when songwriting on your own you can really allow yourself to stall on every little detail. And with the amount of music we have to release as artists we really can’t be stalling, expecially as an independent one.

Everyone was so lovely on this trip, so lovely that one guy felt the need to be my personal translator for every conversation that was happening around me in French haha. Bless him. “City Girl” is definitely one of the best songs I’ve ever written and who would of thought that it would have happened from me cluelessly messing around with some synth sounds on Ableton in my hotel room.
